5/16" Break-Away Nuts are used to secure signs and help prevent sign theft. These breakaway nuts can be used with regular hex head bolts but are best suited for one-way bolts to provide a vandal resistant solution. These tamperproof nuts are tightened down with the cone end facing the sign. Once the nut is tightened all the way, the hex nut will shear from the cone part, leaving the cone part in place on the bolt. Each package contains 10 breakaway nuts.
